Group Classes

Introductory Vocal Music Class: small group class, ages 5-7

A FUN, friendly and effective group approach to singing
For students who want to get started in voice lessons in a supportive, small group setting.
Young students will learn about their voices and build their confidence together.
Students will explore their voices through a series of fun vocal and rhythm games, solo and group singing, music theory, movement and performance opportunities.

Introductory and Intermediate Vocal Class: small group class, ages 7-9

For students who have some previous experience with music and voice or are new to

singing.
Students will learn to sing fun and engaging group songs together, focusing on harmonies, vocal expression and choral singing skills while enjoying working together as a group.
Students will explore their voices through a series of fun vocal and rhythm games, solo and group singing, music theory, movement and performance opportunities.

Songwriting Classes

*For songwriting classes and lessons, it is helpful to know how to play a few, simple chords on your instrument of choice but not required. We can work on getting you up to speed in no time!

Small Group classes: ages 8-12 & ages 12-16

Harness your creativity and transform it into your own original music!
Explore techniques and approaches to songwriting through studying musical styles and genres, creating lyrics through fun games and exercises, and learning to collaborate with your fellow songwriters.
Listen to the works of amazing songwriters and break down their process to understand the ingredients of writing engaging songs
Create an original song by the end of the 8-week class and have the opportunity to perform it for family and friends.

Small Group Classes: Adults (21 and up - all experience levels welcome)

Together we will work on engaging exercises to harness your creativity and bring the story inside you to life.
Learn how to add imagery and use the senses to write engaging lyrics.
Arrange your songs using simple music theory and gain skills to accompany your voice and song with your instrument of choice (guitar, uke, piano, etc.).
Performance coaching for songwriters who wish to share their songs with audiences.
Students will create their own original song by the end of the class and have the

opportunity to perform it for their family and friends.

I hold a Masters in Special Education and have years of experience teaching children and teens of all abilities.
For students who need a more flexible and creative learning environment.
Tailored to those that learn best in a non-traditional setting.
Lessons build confidence, enhance musical and interpersonal skills.

Monthly Tuition for Weekly Private Lessons:

30 minute weekly lesson $160

45 minute weekly lesson $220

60 minute weekly lesson $280

$10 additional per lesson for in home lessons

Individual Private Lesson Rates:

$80 per 60 mins, $65 per 45 mins, $50 per 30 mins.

Group Classes:

10 week classes $280
